The New Zealand Grand Prix was the third and final race of the meeting and is recognised as "the one to win".

Unsurprisingly all riders were keen to impress in this race and particularly for Blayes Heaven, an opportunity to make a real mark for himself and the team.

It was a truly exhilarating moment for Team BSP to see their Moto3 rider on the top of the podium in the 125GP/Moto3 class and also collecting the NZGP trophy.

Team BSP Manager Robbert Adriaansen said it was an incredible race meeting. "We arrived on Thursday and faced some very difficult weather early in the meeting but in the end it all turned out amazing. The whole team worked very hard with total commitment to getting everything done for the riders.

"I feel very lucky to be working with such a tight knit and passionate group of people. This was our first NZSBK Championship meeting as a team and I believe we made an impression," he said."

We are now going to relax for a couple days before moving on to Timaru to race at Levels for round 2 of the NZSBK.

Not only did we put five bikes on the grid, we also saw some incredible performances from Team BSP riders from substantially dropping their lap times and improving on consistency, to complete domination on the track by Blayes on the Moto3. Winning the NZ Grand Prix is the icing on the cake and a great reward.

A mention must go to the Team BSP sponsors - their support is invaluable and immensely appreciated. A big thank you goes to Henshaw Signs, Motomart Wellington, Bike Vault, Motul New Zealand, Webfox, AGV Helmets, RST Leathers, Nationwide Accessories and Talent Connect.

While we are at the track, feel free to come and say hello to the team. We would love to see you there. However, if you can't make it you can watch all the action live online by clicking onĀ http://www.ctaslive.co.nz/Live.aspx
